Note: 
“Elbows Up” refers to a move, both offensive and defensive, used by hockey players going into a corner with an opponent, often associated with the great Gordie Howe. 
Canada has just had an election focused on tariff and sovereignty threats. Mark Carney’s party, perceived as best able to respond to these threats, came in ahead.
