Dyin ain't easy but it's a living

Heroes will be expected to die young
to keep their fans from growing old
and will be well rewarded
in unspendable gold

If it’s sex you give then sex it pays
so take along the two young Ks

Though a frozen-instant Porsche crash
could be worth a lot of cash

And the Colonel smiles as money piles
for haunting supermarket aisles

But for biggest gross and longest run
it’s still the cross at thirty one

My mother passes
from the womb of this life
to the new life of the next

It has been a difficult journey

My father is waiting for her
with two saddled horses

She is happy to see him
while still nervously scanning for Jesus
who she thought would be there to greet her

My father laughs

Plenty of time for that
in a place with no time

Let me help you up
onto this gentle roan
there's a sunset I'd like you to see

Be borne aloft
on the white wings of angels

Or carried as carrion
on the black wings of buzzards

And arrive at the same God safe

through presents are often hoped for
