Oh The Places You Won’t Go

At the wrapping of this much bubbled year
there’s many a woulda coulda couldn’t tear

All the places that you can’t and couldn’t go
some Spain, some France, some Mexico

And Grandma’s house and grandkids too
and graveyard hugs for warmth won’t do

So let’s open a bottle of Champagne
and pour the whole thing down the drain

The things we’ve lost won’t come again
let’s keep the love that caused the pain

Not to get too carried away by grief the author will be using California “Champagne” for the ceremony
