Reversing the Poles

With bar magnets
and small-town youth growing old

Sometimes that which repelled
can become that which attracts

And telephone lines
on the left when you left
welcome you back on the right

    On summer days
    When we were kids
Watching clouds is what we did.
Prarie kids lived isolated lives with not a soul for miles but other kids were watching the same clouds so it felt like a connection. A group activity.
    Thanks for remembering.
