    Great poem Neil!!

The sound of those old sewing machines
    whirring away like miniature factories
brings back memories of better times
when clothes were made out of feed sacks
    hand-me-downs were common and
when mother’s held their families together
    stitch by stitch
    with nothing more than patience
    and selfless Love.

      That’s lovely!

Love the imagery of mothers holding families together stitch by stitch.
